I have a problem with my Mac OS X 10.6.6 VMWare image installation. After booting from a Mac OS X image it shows an error message that reads: "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. You will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at this point." How do I solve this issue? I am using 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate, 2 GB RAM and core 2 duo processor.

Well, it could be because you're trying something that is not supposed to work. – slhck Jul 7 '11 at 11:25

Read the software license and buy a Mac. – slhck Jul 7 '11 at 11:31
@nipin Buy an OSX License, then go look in to the OSX86 project. You can run OSX a VM, though due to sub-par OpenGL support in VMs, the user experience won't be that sweet. (And Violating the EULA means Apple has no responsibilities to you. Like voiding a warranty, doesn't mean you can't take apart your car, just the manufacturer is off the hook for any problems). – Doc Jul 7 '11 at 18:02
