I am looking for a good free download manager for OS X that will allow me to

  • resume and pause downloads
  • manage the number of simultaneous downloads
  • add new files to the list while others download

I tried DAP but it downloaded this weird .sitx file what I don't know what to do with to install.

If you use firefox, try out DownThemAll add-on.
