I've got a couple of Windows 7 boxes that are acting as digital display / kiosk players. I'm looking for a way to be able to capture a video of what's showing on the screen (a screencast), but I need to be able to start/stop this remotely.

I use the Microsoft's PSTools quite a lot, so am aware I can remotely start a command line process. However, I'm not sure of any screen capture tools that can be started from the command line.

I've got VNC view access to the players, but don't know if that would drop frames if I attempted to record that output - the content I have is quite dynamic and at 1920x1080.
