I am using WinDBG to read some testing driver's DBGPRINT output from Windows running in VMWare.
Unfortunately WinDBG loses the debugger connection to \.\pipe\com_1 at the moment of resuming VM from the snapshot thus introducing the need to restart (which is considerably long process to become annoying); looking for any good debugger which will be able to continue working at resumed sessions.
