I remember having a good DVD a while ago, where I could boot from the DVD into DOS and have a crapload of analyzing and repairing tools. There was a particular popular collection of tools on a boot dvd. I don't remember its name though. What are some popular boot-dvd/cd collections out there for Window systems? Edit: Now I remember the 2 CD's I was talking about: Ultimate Boot CD and Hiren's Boot CD. |

MSDaRT seems to have only a few tools on it when you boot it up, but they are all you ever need to fix Windows. There is a malware scanner, registry editor, boot fixer, partition manager, driver disabler (and enabler), file manager, Startup Repair, network connection, and a few I can't remember. I have all the iso's on one DVD with a boot menu to choose version. But I also have a BartPE with all my registerd tools from my main machine included and registered in the PE registry. |
