I have an Excel spreadsheet with several URLs. Yesterday every time I clicked an URL it went to the webpage. Today I get the error "Cannot download the information you requested". Word is also giving the same error. I've run diagnostics, it said it repaired something (didn't say what), but it didn't help. The only difference between yesterday & today is I downloaded the game ShellBlast & played it last night.

I tried uninstalling it & restarting my computer. But it didn't help. I know the URLs are good & I have used them off this spreadsheet before. Any suggestions on fixing this?

Microsoft Office 2007

Vista

Firefox 5

After your uninstall, I would try a system restore. – KCotreau Jul 18 '11 at 17:32
Do (any/those) URLs still work in your browser? Are these Internet accessible URLs or on a private network? – techie007 Jul 18 '11 at 18:18

I have System Restore shut off.

Yes, the urls work if I copy & paste them. It was the first thing I tried, thinking the site was down.

Here are a couple of the links that worked yesterday, but not today off the spreadsheet:

Thank you.
