I would like to have multiple network configurations in Windows 7 as I have in linux with gnome network manager, where I can set IP address / gateway / dns in a per connection manner, in both Wired and Wireless connections.

Is this possible? I can't believe Windows doesn't offer this by default.

In windows world, we use DHCP :) I'll post some batch/VBScript/Powershell example tomorrow. – surfasb Jul 19 '11 at 8:20
