I'm running an IPv6 tunnel endpoint (/48 from tunnelbroker.net) on a Solaris 10 machine. Now all the guides say to active in.ndpd and in.ripngd. While ndpd of course makes sense, is there really any use in starting ripngd when this machine is just advertising itself as default gateway to the local (switched) LAN and pumping out traffic through the tunnel?
