I'm looking for a good soft-phone featuring the following :

  • integration with exchange :
    • possibility to search exchange contacts
    • ability to quickly add the caller to a new or existing contact
  • ability to handle multiple SIP accounts :
    • conference call, etc
    • the identity of the caller AND of the callee (ie SIP account) is obvious
  • and of course all the small featuresmost softphone seems to have (call history, etc...)

There's a comparison list on wikipedia but it's quite difficult to figure out which one is the best ....

I tried X lite and it was hard to setup.

Here's some info from Wiki on SIP Software

EDIT: Just installed the 3CX Phone and it was easy to install in our network.

+1 for 3CX Phone - much better than SJPhone or XLite. – Lukas Cenovsky Aug 3 '11 at 19:55
