When I start my computer (Windows Vista), all my internet browsers seem to have trouble finding the dns server.

However, if I restart the user session (there is only one, the administrator one) I do not have this trouble any more.

Could somebody explain me what is rebooted when a session is restarted? Seems that some things are reinitialized and I do not understand.

Basically, when the computer starts, it takes almost 20 seconds to resolve the host name with the DNS server; when I restart the session, it does not take any time.
