It's a simple question.

I want to make an iPhone app where it prevents users from

connecting to an insecure access point.

I just wonder if this possible at least a guess.

This would be an OS-level modification. All apps which manage network connections are based off of the built-in wifi system, which allows connecting. As such, you'd have to decompile and modify your device's operating system to work in such a manner. Also, not an ITSec question, might be better on SuperUser. – Lord of Time Jul 25 '11 at 12:43
