I've used GIMP on Linux since the 1990s. Now I need to work on a Mac using Adobe Photoshop CS5. It isn't identical to GIMP. So much is similar, but I can't find certain tools or settings, and I know PS has some extra features not found in GIMP.

Are there any tutorials, cheatsheets, how-to articles etc to help me quickly get proficient with PS?

You could look for a GIMP->PS cheat sheet and just think bout it backward.
