I use finch for all of my instant messaging needs. IM spam is a regular occurrence lately, and I need to block the spambots. Unfortunately, the only place I can find an option to block a user is in the context menu on the buddy list. I don't want to add the spambots to my list only to block them from messaging me, especially on protocols where buddy list changes are sent to the add-ee and would thus confirm the active nature of my IM names to the spambots. How can I block the bots? (Reporting them as malicious/hacked to the appropriate service provider is an optional bonus.)
