My Dell N5010 laptop (with Windows 7 32 Bit) was recently infected with the "win32.sality.ag" virus which had infected almost every executable file (.exe) on my computer.

I used Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 to remove the virus and it actually did the job.

The problem remaining is that every previously infected file no longer works. While I can spare many of these files, I desperately need to fix the installs of my system drivers since I can't find them anywhere on the internet. Even Dell itself provides the drivers for Windows 7 64-bit only (not 32-bit)

Any ideas on how to fix the files or getting the drivers?

Try running "sfc /scannow" (minus the quotes) from an elevated command prompt. That will check the condition of any files used by the system, and compare them to the known-good ones. – KCotreau Jul 31 '11 at 19:51
