I'm considering purchasing an Early 2011 13" i5 Macbook Pro. I'd like to get 8GB of memory, but Apple's upgrade is too expensive ($200), so I thinking of going with this $50 upgrade kit, which is PC3-10600 with 9-9-9-24 timings. What are the timings on the stock memory, so I can verify I'm buying equivalent memory?

I haven't been able to find anything myself, and I'm wondering if someone's just going to have to check with something like CPU-Z on a similar machine.

Contact the sales support at Other World Computing at macsales.com. They can provide exact specifications and they can also sell you memory at the proper spec at a fraction of what Apple charges. – Wheat Williams Aug 9 '11 at 2:11
