When I open my View Workgroup, I can't see anything, even my own computer name. I'm currently using Windows XP Service Pack 2. The computer that can't see anything in the workgroups is the computer that serves as the main server for the group.

Not an answer to your question but you should really upgrade to service pack 3. If you're lucky it may even solve your problem as it contains network related updates. – CGA Aug 4 '11 at 8:56
