Any recommendations for software that will assist in writing bank checks? The need is for the ability to do simple entries without having to manage every single check written as a vendor or Accounts Payable data processing chore.

This company writes hundreds of checks a week, but many are one time ledger entries and they have other accounting software for all their other needs, that they are happy with.

So, just a simple way to automate check writing.

I think any software that can write checks counts as an accounting application – soandos Aug 8 '11 at 18:48
I understand. I just don't know how to explain, they don't want to HAVE to use the accounting part, to write checks. Something that is like filling a check out, or that would accept a list of data without wanting to do more than is being asked. – datatoo Aug 8 '11 at 19:03
like a mail merge type thing? – soandos Aug 8 '11 at 19:10
that would be nice, but even a simple fill out a check type thing, that allowed you to save contacts if you wanted or not would be good – datatoo Aug 8 '11 at 19:54
