This is a rather strange request but I think it is on topic because I need this to sync with my computer. I've got the need for a device that will connect with a Windows 7 PC using USB, and allow manual copying of files, but only allow display of photos (JPEGs). Effectively a digital photo frame with zoom that doesn't require a permanent AC power connection. Does such a device exist?

Most digital photo frames offer some sort of zooming function, and many run on batteries. Give Amazon a look.

+1 because this was my thought before I got to the answers. I'm sure there's some variant of picture frame that'll do this someplace. If there ISN'T, you're probably SOL anyway. – Shinrai Aug 10 '11 at 20:51
Yea, they won't have touch screen (unless you buy them from sharper image and pay some premium for that), but why would you get a single purpose device and put a touch screen on it? But the ones I've seen, starting well below $100, include zoom buttons and battery power. – music2myear Aug 10 '11 at 21:02
