I'm looking for some software or web-based tool which can create image based comparison tables for putting on a website, which can be used to comparing different products ..

However the angle is that the table should be an image, and not text ... That is, I define the table, but then the software allows me to export the table as an image ..

Does anyone know any software or web-based service which can do this ?

Um? MS Excel & a screenshot? I feel sort of confused about the question itself. –  Doc Aug 11 '11 at 23:10
Well thats a crude way of doing it .. The intended purpose is to put this image on my website to compare things .. Now although I can make the table in Excel and take a screenshot, it won't nice on a website (image an Excel screenshot put on a webpage to compare thing) .. I need something more creative and colorful, like the kind of stuff which you put on websites to attract customers .. Hope this better illustrates my purpose .. –  Ahmad Aug 11 '11 at 23:15
Not the best solution but use Photoshop. You can create a "template" that you can use as a background then just fill in the information. Again not the best solution but would work. –  Lynda Aug 11 '11 at 23:43
I'm still partial to Excel + Screenshot. Excel makes some good looking tables. –  surfasb Aug 12 '11 at 0:10
Or you can go learn how to work with HTML tables and style them creatively with CSS. That's what I'd personally do. But if you're trying to get through it, pretty excel ftw –  Doc Aug 12 '11 at 15:31
