I am trying to control VirtualBox from my Windows 7 command prompt. I tried the command vboxmanage controlvm savestate and it's taking a long time to finish. Is that normal? Can I still use this command even though VirtualBox froze?

When you ask if something is normal, you have to give us something to work with. What are the specs of your computer? How long does it take to save state? – surfasb Aug 14 '11 at 4:46
