Which processor mode is set on this mainboard(or Atom processors at default): 1. When power up by power button (=BIOS microcode on ROM)? 2. When run MBR from the device ?
I need write simple mathematic routine & processing, so I try write BYTECODE into MBR tested disk in 64-bit, 32-bit mode, but allways fall to hang up, and beeping(invalid opcode).
When I compile .COM,.EXE executable in FASM with same code and run them in W7 they work correct without problem.
I will be appeciated and happy, when someone take time to me and write correct sample routine for Atom to compute simple 2+2 in MICROCODE, but not required, as well. ;-)
P.S. I am trying to study modern chip programing and 8086, i386 is so outdated today, but I dont know better suitable chip or emulation software and Sun Virtal Box is not thing I want. ;-)
