There are plenty of third party ftp servers I'd suggest the filezilla one from here filezilla | ||||

We have been using CrushFTP for several years. Supports a wide range of platforms and protocols. Many, many options. Very reasonable cost ( free trial as well) and support is great. | |||

There's also Everything, a very useful freeware search tool that can also act as a tiny FTP or HTTP server. | |||
