Is there a software that could send SMS using my attached phone (via usb)?
I am looking preferably on linux OS, but if you have suggestion for windows, then that would still be fine.
I was looking something similar to Nokia PC Suite (or of that sort), so that I can send SMS in my computer with my phone attached via usb.

I can't answer this for sure, since I have not tried the software myself, but in Linux both Gammu and BitPim (former for GSM, latter for CDMA) claim to be able to send SMS messages. This is apparently also possible via AT commands to the phone / modem directly to the phone over the USB connection, but again I have not actually tried this.
