I need a Windows application or possibly a desktop gadget that can play online radios and comes with a great catalog of them (sorted by countries, interest, easily searchable etc.)

If TuneIn radio had Windows client, that would be what I'm after. Any recommendations?

(Windows client / gadget is a requirement, I'm not interested in web-based players.)

Pandora.com has a desktop application. Their music genome project is outstanding, it's the only music player I use.

Their application is probably the most popular music streaming service other than iTunes/YouTube.

Does it support online internet radios? – Borek Aug 20 '11 at 10:09
It is an online internet radio. Are you talking about "podcasts"? – Alex Waters Aug 22 '11 at 5:51

Try Screamer Radio http://www.screamer-radio.com/download/file/screamer044.exe or the nightly version https://nightly.steamcore.se/
