Screen recording software that highlights the mouse pointer

I'm using Camtasia Studio when creating tutorials, but I can't find out how to change the default mouse pointer image. It only uses the existing which isn't satisfying.

I want to create a video in which you can easily see the difference between left and right button mouse clicks. For example, by showing different splash animations on each button, like in this video.

What program is used in that video? Which program can you recommend?

I don't know what program is used in that video, however I believe HyperCam2 is capable of what you are looking for. You can tell it to create coloured lines from the mouse position on click, and specify what colour you want the lines to be.
