Is there some kind of notetaking server application which syncs everything between your devices?

Or is it possible to use your Dropbox or Google space for notetaking and synchronisation?

I love evernote & and the screenshot, addon & ocr features, but i dont like to have my data on another server. My Os is Windows and im using an android smartphone. – jumper Aug 18 '11 at 19:52

One option that is pretty Mac OS X-specific is to use nvALT in conjunction with Dropbox
