On a desktop or a laptop (including the monitor), which peripheral requires the most power compared to other parts?

Which peripherals are you looking for? I bet I have different ones than you do. – takrl Aug 19 '11 at 9:56
@goths: It's hard to determine which peripheral for customers on earth would consume the most as some are energy efficient and others are not. It's best to use a watt meter for this; or you could look into the specifications of the peripherals in question... – Tom Wijsman Aug 19 '11 at 12:32
