Installation was flawless and I used the entire hdd. Changed the values of the image and initramfs to point to the corect kernel. USB boots correctly and the hdd can be mounted(by the live enviroment) without any errors(at least the /boot partition) so no porblem with the HDD I guess. But when i try to boot from my HD instead of grub i get a binking cursor(timeout in menu.lst is set to 5 so grub is really not being run)

Grub2 might help but pacman refused to install it...

Well i just reinstalled using the newer image and everything worked...
