Adobe AIR does not appear in the App Store - this is Australia, on an iPad 2.

Are there geographic restrictions - surely it isn't sideloaded?

This should have been migrated to the Apple Stack Exchange site. I've flagged the question on both sites so hopefully it will be sorted out soon. – ChrisF Aug 22 '11 at 11:57
@ChrisF, does the FAQ specifically disallow Apple products that if made by another manufacturer would make valid questions on this site? – Lance Roberts Aug 23 '11 at 4:46
@Lance - The FAQ is clear that questions about things like iPads, iPods and smart phones are off topic unless it's about how to connect them to your computer. That includes Android phones/tablets and Windows phones etc. – ChrisF Aug 23 '11 at 7:38
@ChrisF, reading that I see nothing about tablets not being allowed just smartphones and gadgets. Tablets are just a different form factor of computers. – Lance Roberts Aug 23 '11 at 13:12

Questions on Super User are expected to generally relate to computer software or computer hardware, within the scope defined in the faq.

You cannot. AIR and the Flash technology it's built on are specifically not allowed by Apple.
