I'm using FireFox 6.0 and I regularly use Ctrl + F to search through large paragraphs of text. Now every now and then I come across a website that is completely built in flash. (Horrible of course, but that's besides the question.)

Is there a tool or add-on that would allow me to search through the displayed text in a flash object? I know that flash objects usually just have the text stored in "plain text" within the source, so I figured it just might be possible.

This would require the addon to download the Flash object and run it through its paces. If anyone writes such a program and makes it decently fast, they are the genius of our generation. – surfasb Aug 23 '11 at 5:35
