Previously I had Outlook 2010 Beta and it had this wonderful feature of showing ALL messages from ALL folders, PSTs in the Coversation View. Unfortunately in the full version "Professional Plus" it works erratically!!

Background: I have my Outlook to use my local PST as the default Inbox location. Which means all mails get delivered to my Local PST.

  1. In the Local PST Inbox, I can see only those messages in the Sent Items and not from the other nested sub folders

  2. In one of the sub-folder, I could see message from its sub-folder not from sent items or from other folders!!

  3. HOWEVER when I go to the EXCHANGE MAILBOX this works for all PST/Folders etc!!!

What am I missing here?

I have tried all thats mentioned here in this link Make sent items show up in conversation view in Outlook 2010?

Please help!!!

Here is an interesting thing I found. When I made the Mailbox as the default folder for mail drop, the PST is now showing the conversations from ALL folders!!!! – Balaji V Aug 24 '11 at 13:14
