I am looking for the best free All In One utility for me/to meet my requirements. I would like the best compromise between power, and light weight (although, performance is not a very big issue - it's more because I doubt I will use the software very often). The main features I am looking for is an uninstaller comparable to software like Revo Uninstaller, and a good file shredder with capability of at least 7 wipes, and of course - for it to be free. Any other features will just be handy, but before anybody says anything - I am not interested in registry cleaning capabilities.

So far, I have been looking at Glary Utilities and CCleaner, but I am open to any other suggestions.

I haven't used Glary Utilities before, but I have had multiple recommendations. I have used CCleaner but only on the odd occasion, and haven't really noted anything special - though, I haven't really evaluated it and I don't have anything to compare it too...

BTW, I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I swear by CCleaner for general OS cleanup. One thing I really like about it is that you can right-click the Recycle Bin and say "Run CCleaner" and it will just automatically execute the cleaning tasks in the background, discreetly. It has a lot of configurability, and recognizes a lot of my third party apps (for IM, web browsing, etc).

As far as secure deletion software, the EFF recommends Eraser, which is free, and has capability of at least 7 wipes. I use it, and it's good too because it has the ability to securely erase empty space on your disk, as well. So, if you insecurely delete something that you want to be sure is gone, this will take care of that.

Sorry for the late reply; I didn't realise I hadn't replied already. Thanks for your answer, I have taken to Eraser and really like it as a solution. However, I am now using Absolute Uninstaller by Glarysoft but previously I was using Z Soft Uninstaller, though I'm still really in the comparison stages. – Andy Jan 26 at 16:25
