There are plenty of time tracking softwares along with to-do list softwares. I was looking for a program that does both and also keeps log of list of items that are completed. For example, you have to-do list marked as done or uncompleted task. But if you want to keep log of monthly or daily task items there is not one application to let us do that. I can use excel sheet to sort completed task in this case but it is time consuming and it'll get bigger and hard to manage for daily and weekly or monthly sorting if the database grows for more than 2-3 months.

Is there any such time sheet software that keeps log of "work done" items ?

You might want to consider Replicon Web TimeSheet software.

It doesn't create a typical to-do list, but you can set up projects with tasks or activities that you mark as done. The software is web-based, so you don't need to install anything. There's a free trial available, with full support to answer your questions as you try it.

Full disclosure: I work at Replicon and use its products.

We have tried a few softwares for time tracking as well as to manage the to-do lists for our employees. The one software which was able to do this rightly for us is office team timesheet
