This might be an odd question but also I guess is one of developers/entrepreneurs' greatest curiosity. If tomorrow a new app/social network emerged what are the chances that people would start use it?

I'm not talking about a social network that's a direct competitor to Facebook but more of a complementary one(e.g. a personalized platform that helps you socialize in a different(more customized) way), so those users wouldn't have to switch totally to another network.

Are users still willing to be "cross-network"?
