Hmm. And the question is...? – Tieson T. Aug 28 '11 at 8:28

Or, you could actually pay attention to the verbiage used on this site, and realize that you are asked to phrase your "questions" as such. Simply telling us what you want is somewhat rude, not to mention immature. As is your grammar. – Tieson T. Aug 28 '11 at 8:38

@Tieson - actually I find the question simple and to the point (regardless if the requester knows how to search a site for the full ISO image). But I find your 2nd reply to be the offensive one. Why not try being more constructive and offer advice how you think the question could be better phrased. A community is to help and nurture, not attack and defend. I am sure the requester could better rephrase if you had helped and guided them. – Wayne Aug 29 '11 at 7:25
@Wayne. I see your point, and I will take it under advisement. I didn't think I was "attacking," but in rereading what I wrote, I can see how it can be taken that way. Thanks. – Tieson T. Aug 30 '11 at 20:24
@Wayne. Also, now that I look (and I'm not intending this to be a defense, just FYI), I see that the OP deleted a comment where he replied to my first comment that if I had a "mind," by which I assume he meant "brain", I could figure out what he was "asking." I thought that was rude and responded as so. – Tieson T. Aug 30 '11 at 20:34

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.

I believe that you are looking for the Visual Studio 2010 Express All-in-One ISO.

There are similar images for 2008 as well, if that's the version you want. That is a full ISO with all the Express products on it, I'm not sure if they offer separate ones but I've not seen that for 2008 or 2010 (not looked, either).

That functions just fine offline and can be burnt to DVD, it probably needs some updates though (always a risk of being offline).

+1 for answering the requester needs – Wayne Aug 29 '11 at 7:25

If you are a student, you can get the Professional Edition (and a whole heck of a lot more) at https://www.dreamspark.com/default.aspx. As the site will tell you, "DreamSpark provides professional-level developer and design tools to students and educators around the world at no charge."
