I want to sync my jabber accounts to use it in Pidgin in different PCs.
Now I do it by symlink to Dropbox folder. It works as it should.

But now I want to use differnet resources on jabber accounts, for example
name@server.com/home
name@server.com/laptop
name@server.com/office
and continue syncing passwords, etc

Any ideas how it is possible?

I'm on Ubuntu 11.04 but MultiOS solution will be better, of course
Pidgin version is 2.9.0

You can use this script to adjust the resources for all Jabber accounts. There isn't a really simple way to do it automatically, though. (Using incron comes to mind, but it would soon cause infinite loops...)
