Many installation DMGs do that and it's completely annoying because often the DMGs don't offer an alias of the Applications folder where you could move the app to. And a different case would be that the image offeres such an alias but you want to save the application somewhere else but in the Applications folder. So you have to press cmd-alt-T to make the sidebar visible again.

So, is there a way to completely disable this kind of minimized-window-without-sidebar-mode?
