Can't come out of standby with MyBook attached

Can’t come out of standby with MyBook attached

I have a windows XP machine that can't wake up from standby if my Western Digital MyBook is plugged in. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I have a usb keyboard and mouse. If I shutdown the computer when I am done using it will reboot fine, but if the computer goes into standby, it won't wake up.

	I have a similar issue with MyBooks, if I do a soft-reset (typing reboot from the shell). I can't reboot, if I smoosh the reset button it works. – salmonmoose Sep 16 at 5:56
