I am running Windows 7 64 bit with Outlook 2010 32 bit. I am using a hosted Exchange provider. I have a generic email account, blah@mycompany.com where I can login as this generic account and assign delegate permissions to others. I am able to login as this generic account if I set up an additional profile in the Mail settings. I cannot open the account if I add it to my main account using Outlook's settings to "open these additional mailboxes".

This is the error I am getting when opening the mail folder in my primary account: Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found

Here are settings and things I have tried:

  1. My personal account has permissions to Author Mail, Calendar, and Tasks
  2. I am able to open blah@mycompany.com directly
  3. Attempted to repair permissions
