Possible Duplicate:
Automatic driver search & update on Windows?

There are many "all-in-one" driver solutions, just like there are "registry fixers". I am looking for a free one that I can use to manually check for driver updates and provide either automated downloads or links, but also one that isn't pure spy/share/malware.

Once again, I'm not looking for an automatic driver update checker, just a tool that I can use once or twice to check for updates for the hardware drivers. Something along the lines of CCleaner, but for drivers.

Does anyone know of such application?

Windows Update. Also, how is CCleaner anything along the lines of an all-in-one driver finder? You can try a program like this, and just use the output it provides (rather then updating using it). – Breakthrough Sep 6 '11 at 18:34
@Breakthrough: I meant I was looking for a program that is a trustable solution for driver updating as CCleaner is for cleaning up my pc (no I don't work for CCleaners company :)). – nightcracker Sep 6 '11 at 18:38

Your manufacturer/ motherboard manufacturer. I wouldn't trust a third part for programs as low level as device drivers. It's too easy to sneak in rootkits.

For anyone that has ever written a rootkit, the process mirrors writing a device driver.

There realy is no reason to check your drivers more than once every six months. The only ones that might need regular updates are the discrete graphics drivers. But that is it. All other driver updates are bug fixes for some given combination software and hardware.
