I am having a strange problem in my motherboard related to the ethernet port. When the computer just boots up, the port shows connectivity (the lights are on if a cable is attached). Whenever the computer has booted win XP, the lights and the connectivity drops out and there is a red-cross at the system tray on the network icon.
I have downloaded an installed the latest drivers of the ethernet card (RTL 8169 - Realtek), but the issue remains same. Please help.
