Good evening.
I have a computer running Windows 7 Ultimate, connected to the Internet through its WLAN interface. It can also connect to a VPN through the OS's basic VPN support. This computer also has a wired LAN interface that is sometimes used to connect it to the network (to connect to the same router the WLAN connects to).
I want to prevent certain specific traffics from getting tunneled through the VPN - starting with Windows Live Messenger.
What is the complete procedure to force all the connections related to Windows Live Messenger to go through the unprotected (normal) WLAN connection instead of the VPN, and in case the WLAN connection is unavailable, through the wired LAN interface?
And if all the specific IP addresses WLM uses must be individually routed, which ones are all of them?
.
The IP settings for the WLAN are:
-Addr. 192.168.0.101
-Subn. 255.255.255.0
-Gateway 192.168.0.1
-DNS 10.1.1.1
The IP settings for the wired LAN are the same, except for the IP. -Addr. 192.168.0.122
The wired LAN is never connected simultaneously with the WLAN.
Thank you very much.
