I have 4GB RAM 1333 (2x2), I added more 8GB 1333 (2x4), total 12GB.

I can see on the properties panel 12GB RAM and everything works fine, The problem is on my task manager I have total physical memory of 6, shouldnt it be total of 12GB? is it better to use only the 2x4GB? will I see total memory of 8?

The system is: WindowsVista 64, I 5 CPU, GBABYTE 1156 US3L motherboard(up to 16GB RAM).

Yes please add more info, and consult your motherboard documentation to know which order ram should be placed in, usually larger units 'first'. – Nick Josevski Sep 12 '11 at 10:11
