My setup is currently as follows:

2008 R2 server shares a Xerox 7545 MFP using the Xerox Global Print drivers. Default Group Policy then distributes the printer to all currently logged-on domain users (not machines), defaulting to B/W but allowing them to print in color if they make the change under Printing Preferences. All of these machines are running either Windows 7 Professional or Enterprise, and they are all 64-bit.

This works for roughly 90% of my users without a hitch; however, I've had two problems plague four or five computers and I can't figure out what's wrong for the life of me.

1) Updating drivers on the server typically pushes the update to all machines on next logon. However, the machines in question refuse to let me update/install those drivers, both through the Print Management console or by forcing a new connection to the shared printer on Windows Explorer.

2) Even with updated drivers, two of my users can't print in color to this printer. There's nothing they have that the other users don't in terms of software and settings that could tamper with their ability to print, so this leaves me dumbfounded to no end.

Any ideas?
