First off, I know next to nothing about RAID. I have 2 SCSI disks which supposedly were forming a RAID, some years ago. THe controller is an Adaptec AIC 7892. It is not clear, what RAID level it was.
They show up in the bios config utility. The bios utility won't let me choose what kind of RAID level it is supposed to have. In fact there is no mention of RAID at all.
In Windows 2000 and CentOS they can be seen as 2 different drives, not one RAID drive. The first drive seems to have no partitions, whereas the second one seems to be formatted with NTFS.
How can I recover the data from these disks?
