Possible Duplicate:
touch doesn't “click” in windows 8

I assume i have the same problem as described here. I can not use the touchscreen to click on any button or metro app. Interestingly i am able to use the onscreen-keyboard to enter passwords, links, and so on.

Any kind of solution seen out there? i did not yet found any. :-)

You'll need to include your hardware platform as this is clearly a driver issue. . . – surfasb Sep 17 '11 at 13:07
would have been nice to add the issue that the keyboard reacts on touchscreen clicks, but the question is protected so i linked to it. i'm using a hp touchsmart tx 1320. the touchscreen is a ntrig-device. installing the win7 drivers did not change the behaviour – Da Gu Sep 17 '11 at 16:49

This question covers exactly the same ground as earlier questions on this topic; its answers may be merged with another identical question. See the FAQ for guidance on how to improve it.

Ntrig. Eww. . .

I'd uninstall the ntrig drivers and try that. I have a Wacom digitizer (HP Tm2). The Win 7 drivers caused issues on my install. I downloaded separate drivers from Wacom that specifically only enabled the side button on the pen.
