I use a 3Webcube to provide my home network. Technically it is supposed to be a Huawei e5830 which runs a kind of busybox.
The fact I am very confused about - the manual says it only supports 5 connected devices. I already got more in use at the moment. But I plan to get a NAS and a wireless printer so I wonder what I should take care of.
Especially i'm confused how this limit is supposed to be enforced. First idea was through the DHCP server. But this is already set up to give addresses in the ranges 192.168.0.100 to 150 (number greater than 5). But there is another setting in the WLAN options: maximum number of assignments (actually in german "Maximale Anzahl an Zuweisungen:" ) it can be set to numbers from 1 to 5. What I fail to understand what is actually configured here.
Hope someone can enlighten me.
