While using mkvmerge for .mkv muxing, I noticed that some output files had video stutters in the same locations (no matter what player was used to play them). The video quality does not really suffer badly from it, but the stutters are nevertheless annoying.
What exactly is the reason of this issue? Are there any known ways to avoid it?
(Note: I only deal with high resolution video, if that matters.)
