I have a relatively old computer from 2005 (NForce3/Athlon64 3000+ 939). At that time front panel audio jacks worked. Then I gave the PC to my dad, and he reinstalled OS there.
Now front jacks don't work, and in newer drivers I cannot found the "Disable front panel jack detection" checkbox. Is it possible to get older drivers with red speaker icon? See http://www.rm.com/support/technicalarticle.asp?cref=tec1173066&nav=0 for example.
Now the icon is yellow-blue, the control panel is different from what it used to be (compare the below screenshot with screenshots from my previous link) and I don't seem to find old enough drivers.

Also, the newer driver fails to uninstall, but it may be unrelated.
The new drivers (which I can download from realtek website) pretend that front jacks don't exist at all.
The OS is plain old Windows XP SP3 32-bit.
