I am currently using a Nvidia GTX580 card on RHEL6, and would like to replace it with a C2070. Would I need to reinstall the Nvidia drivers? If so, how do I uninstall the driver first? Is there anything else I have to do, e.g. reinstall the toolkit/SDK?

what're you using the card for? I'm not familiar with the GPGPU part of the equation, but the nouveau driver should work for the video part of it. In general linux will simply fall back to FB mode if the right drivers are not in place, i believe – Journeyman Geek Sep 23 '11 at 4:19
